RADA chief remanded
The Chief Operating Officer of the Reconstruction
and Development Agency (RADA), Saliya Wickramasuriya was remanded
yesterday until May 12 by the Fort Magistrate for alleged financial
fraud, Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.

17 more cases under FCID probe
The number of investigations carried out by the
Police Financial Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) has
increased by 17 more cases, during the past two weeks. At present,
69 investigations are being carried out by the Division, said Police
Spokesman, ASP Ruwan Gunasekara.
