NCE signs MoU with Verité Research

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE), the private sector Chamber which exclusively serves Sri Lankan exporters, has joined Verité Research to conduct research and policy advisory services on specific trade related topics.

Executive Director, Verité Research, Dr Nishan de Mel entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with President, National Chamber of Exporters, Sarada de Silva recently.

The NCE serves as a forum to discuss export related subjects, and make policy recommendations to the Government to promote and protect trade, commerce and export enterprises.

The Economic Insights Group (EIG) of Verité Research will work with the National Chamber of Exporters, to provide research support for strategic analysis and formulation of policy.

The EIG is a pioneering initiative to assist business chambers and associations through independent research, on issues affecting the private sector.

Founded in 2010, Verité Research is an inter-disciplinary think tank that provides independent analysis to governments and the private sector in Asia. The EIG of Verité will also work with other private sector associations to further the related objectives.
