Multilac at Canton Fair

Multilac was the only Sri Lankan company to have taken the initiative to promote its products, at the 117th Canton Fair in China recently. Being one of the largest paint exporters in the country, the expansive product portfolio of the company was exhibited at the International Pavillion of the exhibition.

Multilac showcased its wide range of paint solutions which included quality and eco friendly products manufactured for the household, decorative, industrial, woodcare, marine and automotive segments, with an emphasis on emulsion and weather guard paints.

The exhibition provided an opportunity for potential buyers to interact with experts at Multilac paints and gain comprehensive information about how they can be used.

The company showcased its strengths and abilities to the international market and its capacity as an international player in the global arena. Chairman Milfer Makeen said, "It is in fact sad to see that most of our Sri Lankan export oriented companies, although they produce quality products that are on a par with international standards, do not participate in trade fairs of this nature."

"The Export Development Board and Government must support entrepreneurs to participate in trade fairs, which are attended by a large number of potential customers from all parts of the world," he said.
