Huawei to launch two mid-range smartphones

Huawei will launch two new-mid range smartphones in Sri Lanka, according to a source in the company.

The devices are targeted at the highly competitive mid-range smartphone market.

According to company sources the devices were tested in early February and the first shipment was made in March this year. It will be available in the market soon.

The two smartphones are for those looking for a better camera experience with high speed connectivity at an affordable price.

A company spokesperson said, "The two products, one 3G and the other a 4G smartphone will be revealed pretty soon. Without doubt it will be attractive and affordable for anyone who is hunting for better performance and fed up with traditional smartphone brands and it comes with a two-year Singer warranty," he added.

Earlier Huawei Smartphones gained nearly a 18% market share in Sri Lanka Q4 according to IDC. Huawei is marketed in Sri Lanka by Singer Sri Lanka.
