Rodrigo and Pathirana back in the lead
Observer/Mobitel Most popular Cricket Contest: Lakshina Rodrigo of
St.Peter’s and Randev Pathirana of Royal sprang back to take the number
one spot in the platinum and Gold categories respectively at the end of
the 10th week count in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular
Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year 2015 contest.
The gap between Rodrigo and Charith Asalanka who was placed first
last week is only 241 votes. Raveen Sayer of Trinity who is placed third
is also in the running . So overall it looks like a three cornered
tussle for supremacy.
In the Gold Contest Randev Pathirana of Royal College Colombo who are
playing in the division two took the lead from Ramindu Nickechala from
Devapathiraja College, Ratgama. Pathirana polled 7545 votes to Ramindu’s
6,980 there too, a deficit of 565 votes.
There was a new competitor in the silver category Soundraraj Dharshan
from Hindu National school in Matale who had 318 votes for a start.
