Harassment of Sangakkara

A protest is to be staged by the Consumer Rights Protection National Organisation (CRPNO) at 2 pm tomorrow ( Monday) opposite the British High Commission over the harassment meted out to Kumar Sangakkara by an immigration official at Heathrow airport recently.

A letter is to be handed over to the British High Commissioner, James Dauris urging an inquiry against the discourteous immigration officer.

Sangakkara has not officially lodged a complaint over the incident but had tweeted about it. CRPNO expects the UK government would take steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
