Nature Lover's Inn to build more cabanas

The Nature Lover's Inn consists of well-designed cabanas and a family cabin offering luxurious facilities. The interiors of the rooms reflect traditional Sri Lankan culture while offering splendid views over the horizon.

"This luxury boutique hotel at the top of Kanumassagala hill in Wagawatta, Poruwadanda, Horana, opened for business seven years ago. The spacious garden with fruit trees and flower plants creating a pleasant environment is an added attraction. Visitors admire the eco-friendliness of the hotel," Nature Lover's Inn owner Roshan Dehiwela said.

"We have 16 luxury rooms including 10 cabanas and a family suite with all modern facilities.

There will be more cabanas introduced as demand is high. We also offer other services such as spa and outdoor recreation activities. Our specialty is the swimming pool which has been constructed at a high elevation. It is a big pool which could be used by a large number of guests at any given time," he said.

All accommodation units consist of a well-furnished living and sleeping area, a bathroom with hot and cold water, a specially designed area for guests to enjoy a natural bath, a spacious elegantly designed room with private verandah, a private garden and air conditioning ventilator.

The Nature Lover's Inn is patronised by a mix of locals and foreigners and has a decent occupancy rate throughout the year.

The hotel also arranges trips to places of importance in the vicinity on guest's request.

The extensive tropical villa known as the Nature Lover's Inn had its origin about hundred years ago as a family house, and surrounded by paddy fields, rubber and tea plantations which used the traditional harvesting methods.

"This is a more garden hotel with a comfortable and stylish interior.

The cabanas are named as Olu, Manel, Araliya, Sandun Villa and Saman Villa to maintain the romance, peace and privacy. The guests are ensured a tranquil and pleasant stay at the Nature Lover's Inn," Dehiwela said.
