Kevin dazzles with driving
Kevin Perera of the BKMS Racing team won the Senior I category for
the second time in a row at the Sri Lanka Karting Circuit Bandaragama.

It was the second round of the Kart Fight championship held on June
22.
Perera drove faultlessly during his run as he started on pole
position and held that position with ease till the end of the race.
He was the fastest on track that day posting a lap time of 37.7
during his qualifying run. Perera is also currently taking part in the
Formula EFI championship this year. He was part of the Mobil 1 team who
were sent to India to take part in the Rotax Max Rookie Cup. Which was
held earlier this month.
Racing in India has helped me to unlock my true potential as driving
is India not only helped me to drive much faster karts but also helped
me to learn the art of race craft.
Perera said Kevin finished 3rd overall at the event. He competed with
some of the best drivers in India such as Mira Erda and Akash.
Perera has achieved a lot in karting. He won last year's novice
championship at 14. He is currently leading the Senior 1 championship
and is looking to carry this momentum to his next race.
