A sweet dream

I saw a little house,
I saw a little lady,
She was very kind,
Her house was like candy.
She lived in candy land,
She gave me some candy,
It was very yummy and tasty.

I saw a chocolate cat,
She asked if I could eat her,
And I said "Yes."

It's getting dark,
I should go to bed.

That was the greatest dream
In the whole wide world.

My child

You are the poem,
I dreamed of writing,
The masterpiece,
I longed to paint...
You are the shining star,
I reached for in my
Ever hopeful quest,
for life fulfilled...
You are my child...
Now with all things
I am blessed.

Poetry that rhymes

A great Dane named Mark Twain,
Has an owner named Terrain.
He is from Spain.
One day Terrain went down the drain,
So the great Dane got his airplane!

How to make a friend

You start by saying hi there,
Hello, Aloha, Ciao -
If someone answers back to you,
Smile, nod and bow.

You might try saying Hola,
Salut, Goddag, Shalom.
If someone answers back to you,
They might be far from home.

A friend begins by greeting,
Those they meet along the way,
To make them feel welcome,
At home, at school, at play.

Bubbles

A pink and blue and purple
CROP,
Of soapy floating bubbles,
DROP,
Gently floating to a
STOP
Tiny fingers grab them.
POP!
