Siyapatha Finance turns 10

Siyapatha Finance PLC celebrated its tenth anniversary this year with the Dhashakayaka Abihishekaya program featuring the launch of a loyalty card, raffle draw prize distribution and a gala evening for stakeholders to enhance overall customer value and experience.

The Siyapatha Loyalty Card is offered to its leasing customers which remains valid throughout the lease period.

Chairman, Siyapatha Finance, Channa Palansuriya said, "Siyapatha Finance is one of the few finance companies operating in the island that is fully owned by one of the country's leading privately owned commercial banks, Sampath Bank.Customers approach us with the same level of trust and assurance they would expect from Sampath Bank."

"Our success in the early years as Sampath Leasing and Factoring, helped us to upgrade into a finance company under the Finance Business Act, in 2013.

With this change in statutory status, the company also re-branded itself as Siyapatha Finance PLC which permitted customers to place deposits and to enjoy gold financing with us securely," he said.

Incorporated in 2005 as a specialized leasing company under the name Sampath Leasing and Factoring, to bring about greater financial inclusiveness, the company served the micro credit market.

Thereafter, it supported customers, individuals and businesses with vehicle leasing, hire purchase facilities and factoring facilities.
