Apple

An apple can taste very nice,
Try a bite or a slice.
If its red or if its green,
It will taste good if its clean.
My grandma says "an apple a day,
Always keeps the doctor away."

Parrot

It's okay
To stare at
The parrot.

Go ahead!

The parrot
Is like a flower
That talks.

Pick me!
Pick me!

People

A rainbow of culture,
A nation of colour,
Are people.

Diverse,
Yet beautiful like flowers,
Are people.

People like you and me
Make up earth's family.

A good friend

There is nothing like a good friend,
To tell your troubles to.
Someone to open up with,
Someone to talk you through,
The highs; the lows,
The everyday struggles,
Someone who knows,
Your every quirk and flaw,
Someone who understands your ways,
And loves you after all.

Mr. Nobody

I know a funny little man,
As quiet as a mouse,
Who does the mischief,
That is done,
In everybody's house!
There's no one ever,
Sees his face,
And yet we all agree,
That every plate we break was cracked,
By Mr. Nobody.

A good neighbour

For your neighbours, lend a hand,
Show them that you understand,
They have rights we must protect,
Show them kindness and respect,
For your neighbours try to care,
When they're troubled, help repair,
Lend an ear and listen too,
If they're worried, help them through,
For your neighbours give a smile,
Spend time with them for a while,
Look after your neighbour's needs,
And God will reward your deeds.
