ANCL staffer appeals for help

Thirty-nine-year old B.N.D.P. Boralugoda of 162/1, Samagi Mawatha, Newdawa, Aruggoda and Regional Sales Executive of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd., has been diagnosed with decompensated non-alcoholic chronic liver disease by Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, Dr. Madunil A. Niriella.

He is awaiting liver transplantation at the Global Hospital, Chennai, India, under the care of Consultant Liver Transplant Surgeon, Dr. Gomathi Narasimhan.

The cost of surgery and the 6-8 weeks' follow-up treatment is expected to cost a tidy sum and hence Boralugoda appeals to the generous public for financial assistance, which could be remitted to A/c No. 4319653, BoC Lake House branch or to A/c No. 102654786617, Sampath Bank, Panadura branch.
