Peterites lose to Dharmapala

St Peter's College lost to Dharmapala College Pannipitiya on first innings in their first round match of the Singer Trophy Under 19 inter school cricket tournament at Pannipitiya yesterday.

Dharmapala bowled out for 230 runs in the first inning restricted the Peterites to 192.

Dharmapala: 230 (Himasha Liyanage 169, Taneesha Weerakoon 3/59, Vinu Mohotti 3/38) and 113 (Himasha Liyanage 66, Taneesha Weerakoon 5/44)
