Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and
Maithree Wickramasinghe participated in the Christmas Carols
service at Temple Trees on December 17. The orchestra was
provided by the Sri Lanka Police band, while a choir of
children complemented the service. Minister of Tourism
Development and Christian Affairs John Amaratunga, Minister
of Law and Order and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayake
and Media Spokesperson for the Prime Minister Rosy
Senanayake are also in the picture.
Sri Lanka Mission in UN marks 6oth
anniversary: The Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka
in New York celebrated the 60th anniversary of the admission
of Sri Lanka to the United Nations recently with an archival
photographic exhibition, followed by a breakfast reception.
