AISEX 2016 in June

Apparel Industry Suppliers Exhibition (AISEX) 2016 organised by the Sri Lanka Apparel Institute (SLAI), the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services (Pvt) Ltd., will be held from June 10-12 at the BMICH.

AISEX 2016 will showcase technological innovations in the apparel industry and provide the garment industry with solutions to forge ahead.

"The exhibition will encourage suppliers and service organisations to showcase their latest products for the apparel manufacturer and also help build working relationships between them. More participants, specially from China and India, are due to take part this year," a spokesman for the organisers said.

"AISEX 2016 will generate new opportunities within the South Asian region. There are emerging opportunities in regional markets and not only in the EU and the US. Domestic markets in the region are growing and there is an opportunity for local brands to target regional markets, such as India," he said.

Organisations offering any of the following products or services are eligible to participate as an exhibitor. Planning, central organisation, material flow, quality control, model and cutting preparation, cutting room, fusing, sorting/bundling and stitching preparation, joining and fastening technology, joining and fastening material, product processing, distribution logistics, energy and air-conditioning, information media, fabric and yarn, support services such as insurance, and banks, freight forwarders, courier and shipping companies.
