India beat Pakistan

India beat Pakistan by five wickets in their Asia Cup match played in Mirpur, Bangladesh yesterday.

The Indians had a simple target after bundling out Pakistan for 83 although they were jolted at the start when paceman Mohamed Amir took the wickets of openers Rohit Sharma and Ajinka Rahane both trapped leg-before without scoring.

However Virat Kohli steadied the Indian innings.

Scores:

Pakistan: 83 in 17.3 overs (Shafraz Ahamed 25, H Pandya 3 for 8, RA jadeja 2 for 11)

India: 85/5 in 15.3 overs (V. Kohli 49, M Amir 3/18)
