PM addresses world biz community on CNBC

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is addressing the world business community and invites them to connect with Sri Lanka by showcasing the country's business and investment potential on the CNBC network.

Aired on CNBC in conjunction with the Global Opportunities - Sri Lanka campaign it will run till June and features the state of the economy, Sri Lanka-China ties, connectivity within the nation, Sri Lanka as a maritime hub and tourism.

The CNBC press release said the content will inform the network's audience across the Asia Pacific about the potential and risks of investing in Sri Lanka.

Vice President, Sales, CNBC Asia Pacific, Kerry Tarrant said, "We are excited to partner with Sri Lanka in this endeavour. This partnership enables CNBC to bring actionable insights about Sri Lanka's economic landscape to our audiences.

CNBC was launched on February 24 last year in Sri Lanka and made available to Dialog TV subscribers on Channel 41.
