WP (S) secure easy seven-wicket win

Western Province (South) powered by a superb 160 from Sri Lanka World Cup under 19 cricketer Avishka Fernando and supported by a fine bowling spell from Inosh Geeshan who captured five wickets for 36 runs beat Central Province by seven wickets in their Super under 19 provincial match played at Surrey grounds Maggona yesterday.

Western Province continuing from their overnight score of 238-1 declared at 300-7 and then bowled out Central for 195. Left a moderate target to chase Western Province lost three wickets in scoring the required total of 37.
