Salinda remains on top: Sinhawansa jumps to first place in ‘Gold’

Piyumal Sinhawansa of St.Anne’s College, Kurunegala took the lead in the ‘Gold’ segment for division 11 schools polling 5338 votes with a majority of 347 over St.Anthony’s College, Katugasthota’s Kanishka Uggalpaya who had 4991 votes against his name in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year contest 2016 at the end of the 10th week count.

Salinda Ushan of Isipathana College is still perched on top with 11218 votes in the ‘platinum’ contest for division one schools and his closest rival Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo polling in 8431 votes is trailing by 2787 votes at the second place.Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year 2016.
