Peterites in facile win over Rajans

St. Peter's proved too strong for Dharmaraja in their Singer 'A' division schools rugby match which they won by a margin of 30 points in their Singer 'A' division schools rugby match played at Bambalapitiya yesterday.

The Peterites scored their 36 points through 5 tries, 4 conversions, 1penalty to the Rajans 6 points (2 penalties). At half time St Peter's led 29-6.

Try scorers for the Peterites were centre Theekshana Dasanayake, second row Rahal Delpachitra, winger Diyath Fernando, captain and full back Sandesh Jayawickrama and number eight Sajith Saram. The conversions and penalty were put over by Jayawickrama.

For the Rajans the two penalties were fired across by full back Deshapriya.
