Lankan medical tech firm wins Nepal dealership

TMI Solutions (Pvt) Ltd., sole distributor of medical equipment for Nihon Kohden Corporation of Japan has bagged several dealer awards presented by Nihon Kohden and also obtained the sole distributor operation for its products in Nepal.

At Nihon Kohden’s Asia-Pacific Distributor Conference in Cebu Islands, the Philippines, on May 5-6, TMI Solutions won the ‘Best Growth Award for Neurology Products’, ‘Best Sales Growth for Defibrillator Products’, ‘Runner-up for Patient Monitors’ and the ‘Best Growth and Most Exemplary Distributor Award’, according to a company news release.

TMI Solutions was appointed as dealer for Sri Lanka two years ago and later for the Maldives.

With the success achieved by TMI, Nihon Kohden Corporation has consolidated the operation of Nepal under TMI. TMI General Manager Sampath Kularatne received the awards from CEO, Nihon Kohden Corporation, Fumio Suzuki. TMI Solutions is a member of PLC Holdings International headed by Chrisantha Mendis.
