Appeal for help

Twenty-year-old Kamal Kumara of Kobbekaduwa Janapadaya, Galahaduwa, Hendala, Wattala fractured his hip joint when the lorry in which he was the helper met with a serious accident. Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Colombo National Hospital Dr. Rukshan Sooriyarachchi has recommended Total Hip Replacement Surgery. The prosthesis and the equipment which had to be purchased from the local market cost around Rs. 391,000.
