126th Birth Anniversary:

English writings of Martin Wickramasinghe

A new volume of collected writings in English of Martin Wickramasinghe is being launched by the Martin Wickramasinghe Trust to mark the 126th Birth Anniversary of the greatest litterateur in the Sinhala language and cultural thinker which falls today. The book, titled 'Volume No. 5, On Culture and Civilisation'', is part of a series being published by the Trust and edited by Dr. W. A. Abeysinghe, himself a respected writer and literary critic.
