CSE wins National HR Excellence Gold award
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) won a HR Excellence Gold Award at
the National HR Conference 2016 recently. It was organized by the
Institute of Personnel Management (IPM).
The award was presented in recognition of the CSE's exceptional HRM
practices and the contribution of the HR function to drive
organizational performance.
The short listing for the awards was done in three rounds, including
an in-depth audit of the company's HR practices and a final viva
conducted by a distinguished panel of HR specialists. The award under
the gold category was presented to seven companies - Bodyline, Unilever,
Browns, Sampath Bank, Virtusa, Hayleys Plantations and the Colombo Stock
Exchange.
CEO, CSE, Rajeeva Bandaranaike said, "We are proud to have won a HR
recognition award at national level and it is an endorsement of the
transformation that has taken place in HR practices at the CSE."
IPM holds the National HR Excellence Awards as part of the National
HR Conference to recognize individuals and companies for their
exceptional people management practices.
