Nihonbashi: turns 21

Voted as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in Asia since 2013,
Nihonbashi turned 21 on June 28.
Founded in 1995 by Chef Dharshan Munidasa, the restaurant's culinary
journey has evolved into an internationally recognised restaurant and
listed on 'Asia's 50 Best Restaurants sponsored by Acqua Panna and San
Pellegnino.
Chef Dharshan Munidasa and Nihonbashi celebrated this momentous
occasion by offering two distinct dinning experiences. The popular
Sukiyaki prepared from beef, 'Kuroge Wagyu Sirloin' and 'the best of
Nihonbashi' menu that showcased some of Dharshana's signature dishes and
some recent creations.
Nihonbashi's dishes are not just authentic and proper Japanese but
local in ingredients wherever possible.Modern interpretations of
classics are a unique selling point of Nihonbashu and sometimes these
dishes are not even found in Japan anymore but are still washaku
(Japanese cuisine) at heart. |
