Mass Media and Parliamentary Reforms Minister and Chief Govt Whip Gayantha Karunatilleke's birthday falls today. To mark the occasion, the ITN will donate a newly-built house to a needy family in Dompe.

Hailing from the Galle district, Minister Karunatilleke has represented Parliament continuously for 16 long years, scoring a large number of preferential votes at each General Election. He maintains his touch with the electorate having allocated four days a month to listen to the grievances of his voters.
