BMS emerge National Champions of Red Bull Campus Cricket 2016

Following a nail-biting match packed with exhilarating shots and wickets, BMS clinched victory against Saegis Campus to become the Sri Lankan Champions of Red Bull Campus Cricket (RBCC) 2016 at the National Finals held at the Thurstan College Grounds recently.

The boys from BMS will now head back to the dressing room to prepare for the RBCC World Finals as they represent Sri Lanka on home turf next month.

After a tournament draw held in July, BMS breezed through the Group Stages, with a victory against IIHE to qualify for the Quarter Finals. After beating SLIIT with a comfortable margin of 157 runs, BMS went on to win a hard-fought battle against KDU in the Semi-Final to earn their place in the National Finals against Saegis Campus.
