Virgin Atlantic Airways appoints International Airline Service as its GSA Virgin Atlantic Airways has appointed International Airline Service (Pvt) Ltd - a member of the Expolanka Group - as its passenger General Sales Agent (GSA) in Sri Lanka. Sir Richard Branson Chairman of Virgin Atlantic said " I am delighted to be able to announce International Airline Service as our General Sales Agent in Sri Lanka. It is one of the most well established airline GSAs in this area. We are confident that, with International Airline Service on board and the wealth of experience it has to offer, Virgin Atlantic's interests will be represented extremely well in this region". Willy Boulter, Virgin Atlantic's Commercial Director commented "With our extensive trans atlantic network, we are hopeful of capturing some significant business from Sri Lanka, and the appointment of Expolanka as GSA demonstrates our commitment to the market". Since its establishment almost twenty years ago, Virgin Atlantic Airways has become Britain's second largest airline serving the world's major cities. Now based at both London's Gatwick and Heathrow airports, it operates longhaul services to 22 destinations worldwide as far apart as Las Vegas and Shanghai. |
