Sri Lankan launch for 'Inside Out'
With the London Times accrediting Azad as one of the "Top ten cats up on their catwalk prowl", the North West College of Fashion in London has recognized his work and invited Azad to hold a fashion variety, which is schedule to commence on June 23, 2004. Azad has selected the theme of "Black and White Illusion for Bridal and Couture pieces". As a couture designer, Azad fashions a variety of elegant creations taking into consideration the different cultures and often using distinctive techniques, embroideries and colour shades. In addition he has choreographed and designed collections for fashion shows in Paris held at the Gallery Raffette. Azad is at present preparing to launch a stylish wedding planning gallery that exclusively caters to bridals. The establishment will be equipped with a special bridal floor for men and women complete with wedding amenities like attire, makeup, jewellery, limousine service, flowers, photography studio and web designing all under one roof. Azad began his career in the fashion arena as a garment technologist at the age of 17 and eventually became a Freelance Fashion Designer. Soon after, Azad relocated to London where he completed his degree in fashion. |
