Second Isipathana International Rugby Sevens August 21 and 22

The second Isipathana College International Rugby Sevens Tournament will be worked off on August 21 and 22 at CR and FC grounds, London place.

Right now, ten foreign teams have confirmed that they would participate in the tournament, with Singer Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan Airlines coming forward as sponsors.

The teams that have confirmed: United Kingdom, Haberdasher's Aske's Boys School, Thanet Wanders, Sku Runners, Hab's-London, Sutton and Epson FRC, Australia-Mentone Grammar, Fiji: Nawaka District School, India: Tamilnadu R.U., Thailand: Rolet School, Qatar: Doha Rugby Football Centre.

The organising committee is awaiting confirmation from Russia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.

There are 12 local teams that have so far confirmed their participation.

Besides the rugby football, there will be entertainment galore with day/night mini carnival. (Lankapuwath)
