Siedles markets new DVD recorder Siedles (Pvt) Ltd (SPL),the authorized distributor of Sony products in Sri Lanka for over 40 years, has taken another step further to expand business on Sony's digital imaging products in Sri Lanka. This added focus towards digital lifestyle solutions is targeted at satisfying the growing demand of increasing technology-savvy customers in Sri Lanka, Siedles Managing Director Nimesh Udeshi said at the launch of the latest DVD recorder. The DVD recorder, which was introduced recently has the capability to record programs and telecast on a television.Sony introduced this DVD recorder to the Japanese market recently. "Our expansion into the digital lifestyle market seeks to meet consumer demand, which has been growing in recent years," Udeshi said. He said that they are extremely glad to be working with a renowned partner like Sony in distributing their innovative products and consumers will definitely be pleased with the range and quality of Sony products that will be sold at our retail stores. Sony Asia Regional Marketing's Senior Manager, Tomohiko Yanagi said: "Siedles is well-known for the professionalism and experience of their sales staff and its commitment to customer service". He said that this Sony Handycam recorder is the latest addition to the Sri Lanka market and the company hopes to introduce many more comprehensive products to the market in the future. Moreover, Siedles company's credentials as a progressive business that embraces new attitudes and opportunities with the Sony company in Japan is quite successful. "We believe that Siedles can successfully market our latest offering of digital lifestyle products, especially like the latest range of Sony Handycam recorders," Yanagi concluded. |
