MAG Auto Springs receives ISO

MAG Auto Springs (Pvt) Limited at the Industrial Park, Pallekele, Kandy, registered under the BOI, a subsidiary of pioneer automotive related spares producers, importers, distributors and exporters in Sri Lanka 'Kandy Tyre House, has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001-2000 by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution.

Kandy Tyre House founded by the Chairman of the MAG Group of Companies M.A. Gunathilake, now has 11 subsidiary companies under the umbrella group 'MAG Group of Companies' dealing in automotive related productions. MAG Group has a branch in Australia through which they export compound, rubber bushes required for Tyre manufacturing. Kandy Tyre House, a prestigious and well known business enterprise started a few decades ago to deal with collecting and selling used tyres later developed into a tyre rebuilding business.

Later it started the import of tyres of various well known makes from many countries and distribute them here. The company is also running most modern car servicing plants in a few places in the island.
