Allianz doubles growth in three years

Allianz International (Pvt) Ltd. was awarded contracts to supply The Colombo Plaza, with 244 room safes and 244 minibars.

Managing Director Allianz International, Ruben Thananayagam said that "with the expansion of the tourism sector the company realised the growing need for quality hotel equipment and accessories, and in the past three years we have doubled our growth", he said.

The in-room safes are from Safeplace of Israel, while the Indel B minibars are from Italy. Thananayagam said that they were for the old wing refurbishment of the Colombo Plaza which is currently in progress.

In the recent past Allianz International has supplied the Trans Asia Hotel, Aman Resort Hotels, Global Lanka Hotel as well as Jetwing Hotels with equipment and are fast building a reputation for quality products and service.

Thananayagam said the company had just signed up with leading Spanish hotel Kitchen equipment suppliers Linea Blanca and Acros as well as the Malaysian MSM Group, whereby Allianz will exclusively market their product range in Sri Lanka.
