Easter more meaningful and timely - PM Easter is more meaningful and timely in our challenging effort to overcome the effects of the tragic catastrophe that struck us three months ago, says Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse in his Easter message. The message: "Christians the world over celebrate Easter commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus. "Easter is symbolised by the hopeful message of resurrection.
"Easter is more meaningful and timely today in our challenging effort to overcome the efforts of the tragic catastrophe that struck us three months ago. On this noble day let us resolve to march forward triumphantly in unity without being disheartened by the tragedy all of us faced three months ago.
