Discover the real face of Vietnam
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine has a character and flavour of it's own.
Various fresh ingredients are used for Vietnamese cooking such as lots
of chilli, garlic, ginger vinegar and lime. Hilton Colombo together with
Hilton Hanoi Opera will show you " the real face of Vietnam" at their
Spices restaurant from August 17 at Spices.
" There will be two visiting chefs from the Hilton Hanoi Opera and a
hostess" said the hotel's Marketing Communications Manager, Gigi De
Silva. "Whether it is a hot soup, a salad or a dessert the guests will
truly enjoy what is on this massive Vietnamese buffet. The food is
packed with contrasting flavours, varied textures using exotic
ingredients" she says.
Vietnamese food has long been appreciated in France, and now other
countries are only beginning to discover its many fine features.
Vietnamese chefs like to refer to their cooking as " the novel cuisine
of Asia."
