Golden jubilee of Sri Lanka -China Diplomatic ties
 


President Mahinda Rajapaksa addresses the business community in China inviting them to have extensive interaction in trading and industrial ventures in Sri Lanka.


President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa being
greeted at the Beijing airport by two Chinese children on their arrival at
the Beijing airport on their five-day official visit in China. The visit of
President Rajapaksa to China marked fifty years of diplomatic ties
between Sri Lanka and China.


First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa is surrounded by Chinese toddlers at
a play school.


The top level Lankan delegation comprising Cabinet Ministers, diplomats
and representatives of the business community listen intently to the
 speech by President Rajapaksa inviting Chinese investors to Sri Lanka.


The Sri Lankan cultural troupe entertains the Chinese audience.
