MP Reggie Ranatunga’s funeral tomorrow

UPFA MP for Gampaha District Reggie Ranatunga, father of Arjuna Ranatunga MP and Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket Board, died yesterday at a private hospital in Colombo.

After the demise of Sripathi Sooriyaarachchi, Ranatunga was sworn-in as a MP. Earlier he had served as the Governor of Sabaragamuwa province. He also servered as Minister of Food and Cooperative in Chandrika Kumaratunga government. The funeral will take place at Udugampola, Gampaha tomorrow evening.
