Our bull

"Our bull is good enough for us," was the slogan when the Elephant Party organised a protest campaign against soaring world oil prices. One wonders whether it was a conspiracy against their own party leader. The party known for losing 17 elections under its current leader, one wonders which bull the party men were referring to.

Financial crisis

The Bell Party is heading for a severe financial crisis as the 'foreign flow' to their coffers is reducing drastically. Having survived a crucial battle for the leadership, Some the one-sa is now facing another uphill task of finding funds from their branches in three countries, including the one in Japan. Their funding has ceased after Flowery one-sa left.

Ni-Flower happy

Ni-Flower was a happy man as MR and C-Pack colleagues warmly welcomed and greeted him on his election as You-En health chief. A big cake was cut at Wednesday's C-Pack meeting as Ni-Flower, clad in an 'extra white' national dress, shared his joy with his colleagues.

Ra-Blue returns

When Ra-Blue returned home from Europe, there were many protesters along the Airport-Colombo road to express their displeasure over his irresponsible statements in Germany. Not being in a position to face people after his disgraceful conduct in Europe, Ra-Blue took an alternate route to evade the protesters.

Extra dollars

Ra-Blue and Lucky Milk-Fall spoke to the agents of the 'walking scribes' to explore the possibility of strengthening their campaign against Gota.

The expert advice came from two NGOs and some 'editors sans newspapers'. But the operation was a successful flop, except for the extra bundle of dollars that came to the accounts of the organisers.

Blue-eyed boys

The sinister campaign against Atta-Leader and Sa-Jeet, the love slave still continues with a different agenda. The leader has deployed his blue-eyed boys - Aa-Killer the Vee, Kind-Siri the Victory-sekara and Sa-Rock the Rat to intensify the campaign to oust Atta-leader and Sa-Jeet.
