Top rugby displayed at Merc. 7's

RUGBY: The much awaited Mercantile Rugby 7's tournament organized by the Mercantile Rugby Football Association continued at the CR and FC grounds in Longden Place yesterday.

The second day of this three day long tournament attracted a number of top Mercantile sector rugby fans to the Longdon place, after their office hours as the matches were scheduled to play under floodlights.

All the teams participating in the tournament was seen in action on the second day and several teams perform really well. Some teams comprised with many talented players and also national players. As expected they lived up to the expectations.

The Second round matches will be worked off this morning and the finals will be played from 4.30 pm onwards and the cup finals will be held on 6.30 pm.

As in every year the carnival atmosphere prevailed at the CR & FC ground.
