Mobitel winners for March

U.G.C. Kusumlatha from Nugegoda was the sixth winner of a Maruti Suzuki Alto Sportz car when declared winner of the March 2010 edition of Mobitel SMART Recharge Bonanza, recently.

Reflecting Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel's accessibility across many cities, Premathilaka Bandara of Abanpola, Sampath Pushpakumara of Badulla, Sisira Deshapriya of Kahawatta, P.H. Amarasinghe of Karandeniya and Gamini Sisirakumara Ranjith of Pannala, were the recipients of ASUS Laptops, complete with Mobitel M3 High Speed internet dongles.

On registering for SMART Recharge Bonanza; For every Rs. 200 recharge in a month the customer stands a chance to win the Maruti Suzuki Alto Sportz car. For every Rs. 200 recharge in a week the customer stands a chance to win the ASUS Laptop with the 3.5G internet dongle.

Mobitel rewarded its retailers at the same event for their dedication and passion which reflect and complement Mobitel's own values as the national mobile service provider. Mobitel retailers in all 25 Districts in the country were entitled to the draw.

The prizes distributed were high-end, cutting edge laptops along with M3 high speed internet dongles.

Mobitel investments committed to date in the 3.5G/2.5G networks and service offering amounts to over US$300 mn.

The company plans to increase its combined number of base stations to 3000 by the end of 2010.
