Sunday Observer in top slot in SRL Ratings

The Sunday Observer, Sri Lanka’s leading English newspaper with the largest circulation, has again secured the top slot in the latest SRL Ratings.

In the latest SRL Ratings for July, 2010, the Sunday Observer obtained a 58.00 percent market share of all English newspapers with an estimated readership of 451,909. Its closest rival obtained only a 22.00 percent market share with an estimated readership of 170,062. Two other Sunday English papers secured 9.40 percent each.

The Sunday Observer has maintained its position as the undisputed market leader for over eight decades since 1928.
