Govt Printer attends confab in Spain

Lakshman Goonewardene the Government Printer represented Sri Lanka at the International Security Printers Conference organized by the INTERGRAF (International confederation for printing and allied industries) held in Barcelona, Spain last week.

Goonewardene as a guest speaker presented a technical paper on `Stamp Printing in Sri Lanka’. As the head of the Sri Lanka’s only establishment in printing stamps, Goonewardene holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia and diplomas and postgraduate diplomas from Manchester Metropolitan University, Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, Technical University of Chemnitz, Germany and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Sri Lanka.
