The buzz accelerates

The excitement accelerates and the buzz today from the world of Ms
Lanka contestants is that the selections for the Mini title Ms
Personality took place at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention
Centre. The event and the dialogue with the panel of judges resulted in
interesting interaction. The contestants' fears were smoothened down and
the conversation with judges posing quick-fire questions revealed how
confident the contestants were.

The panel of judges comprised Thanuj Haputhanthri - Project Manager
for softlogic Information System (Pvt) Ltd., Lucille Dahanayake -
Chairperson Hermes International, Shayana Senavirathna - former Ms Lanka
and Niluka de Alwis - Director Fairway Condimonium (Pvt) Ltd. As you can
see in the pictures the interviews sparked off smiles and laughter!
Today we are also publishing the photographs of those contestants who
had to walk down the ramp to face the critical eye of the judges. The
panel of judges for Ms Catwalk-1 comprised Aruna Randeniya - Project
Manager, softlogic, Ishani Somawardena - Secretary PICO event, Srina
Ranasinghe - former runner up of Ms Lanka and partner Orchid
Transportation and Baily Tea Masters (Pvt) Ltd.
Rozanne Dias - former Miss Sri Lanka, Trainer/Choreographer and
Editor Modelz Magazine. The T-shirts of the contestants were sponsored
by Capital Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
The selection of competitors for Ms Photogenic 2 will be held today
at Panorama Residences. The next mini title contest for Ms Body
Beautiful and Ms Crowning Glory will be held on October 31 at 11.00 a.m.
at the same venue.
The finale of Ms Lanka 2010 for Ms Asia 2011 will be held at the
BMICH on December 11. Make sure you are there. In the meantime keep

Ms Lanka 2010 for Ms Asia 2011 is organised by Technique
International School of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy and
presented in association with the Sunday Observer, Sri Lanka's leading
English newspaper with the largest circulation. The other sponsors are
PICO Events, softlogic, Sterling Flowers and Trendywear.
