The Sri Lanka men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams which
participated at the AVC Beach Volleyball tournament in
Xianning, China from October 14 to 17 in preparation for the
forthcoming Asian Games to be held in Guangzhan, China next

BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Air Force duo Pubudu Ekanayake and Asanka Pradeep
won bronze medals at the AVC Beach Volleyball competition held in
Xianning, China from October 14 to 17.
A probable Asian Games Sri Lankan men and women Beach Volleyball
Contingent was sent to China on the invitation of the Asian Volleyball
Confederation in preparation for the Asian Games to be held in China
early next month.
The Sri Lankan team will participate in another tournament is being
held in Haikou, China from October 21 till today. The team will return
to the island tomorrow Oct 25.
