New Performing Arts Theatre soon

The National Performing Arts Theatre in Colombo will be opened soon, said Culture and Arts Ministry Secretary Wimal Rubasinghe.

The project is nearing completion and the final touches are now being done.

The state-of-the-art lighting systems and hitech movable stages have been completed. Landscaping and external decorations are being done, he said.

The theatre will epitomise the centuries-old friendship between Sri Lanka and China, he said.
