our country. The great poet and politician, the late Sagara Palansuriya

Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.
He was addressing the 50th commemorative meeting of the late Sagara
Palansuriya a great poet and politician.
"Present society is controlled by money and the social and spiritual
values have deteriorated. Internal peace, joy and wisdom can only be
achieved by literature," the Minister said.

Although Keyas was not of our generation, we have studied his poems
which were considered as highly aesthetic creations," he said.
The meeting was organised by the Keyas Creations Sansadaya and held

The sons of Sagara Palansuriya, Keerthi Vijaya Palansuriya, Lakwijaya
