In six days time Mr & Miss Western City will be crowned at an
exciting show at the ICE LOUNGE at Horton Place Colombo 7. Anxious
moments, last minute arrangements behind the wings will be the order of
the evening among the nine contestants vieing for that all important
title and of course the crown. Mr & Miss Western City is the gateway to
Mr & Miss Sri Lanka 2011. Be a part of the Mr & Miss Sri Lanka 2011
which will enable you to compete for not only Miss Earth but also Miss
Tourism International, Model of the World, Asian Model Search and Petite
International.
Over the years Miss Earth has made that all important statement that
going green and helping others makes one undeniably beautiful.
Miss Wales made the comment "Plant your own fruits and vegetables
recycle your trash and educate the children by visiting schools".
On the other hand Miss Japan is of the opinion that people should
"contribute towards the protection of nature for our future generation".
Apart from selecting Mr & Miss Western City there will also be an
entertainment package that should not be missed and which will commence
by 9.30 p.m. It will include the Russian dancers colourful in their
costumes and breathtaking in their artistry. There will be surprises for
the guests and dancing too. The first 50 couples who arrive in time will
receive prizes at the door, courtesy Silk & Satin. Tickets for the event
is priced at Rs. 1,000 and are available at ICE LOUNGE. Make sure you
are present to cheer your favourite to be the winner.
