Union Assurance launches Union Connect
Union Assurance (UA) introduced a mobile solution through their SMS
gateway - 'Union Connect'.
'Union Connect' is designed to make Life Insurance transparent,
convenient and accessible to UA's Life policyholders.
During an insurance claim, many Life policyholders endure
disappointing experiences due to policies not being fully in-force and
thereby being unable to totally benefit from insurance. This may occur
due to non-payment of premiums and the policy being identified as
inactive. The traditional methods of keeping customers aware on the
status of their policies are ineffective. Customers themselves may also
find keeping track of their past and future premium payments difficult
to do.
UA believes that the introduction of 'Union Connect' will solve this
problem as the customer now has the opportunity to check the status of
the premium payments by sending an SMS.
UA assures that this will help policyholders to fully benefit from
their Life Insurance policies and is considered the stepping stone for
UA in mobile customer solutions.
With the rapid growth of mobile use, almost all industries are
turning to mobile technology which provides superior customer care.
