T20 ICC officials drive Hyundai vehicles

Automobile maker, Hyundai has partnered with the T20 ICC Cricket World Cup tournament in Sri Lanka to provide ICC officials a fleet of 60 vehicles.

Hyundai is the official car partner of the tournament which will see countries such as India, Bangladesh, England, Afghanistan, West Indies, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka vying for the World T20 champions title. The matches will be held all over Sri Lanka for the fourth consecutive year, and Hyundai will help a team of about 70 officials get to their destinations on time.

Director of Hyundai Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Gehan Siribaddana said, "Hyundai was set up in South Korea in 1969 and our affiliation with sports is not new. Even though it is the first time Hyundai will partner the ICC to offer our fleet of first-class vehicles, internationally we have supported the FIFA World Cup."

"We have pledged to support the ICC World Cup events until 2015 and are confident that this partnership will be fruitful and rewarding," he said.
