Writing since the 70s, Jean Arasanayagam is
perhaps the most prolific among the senior Lankan English writers,
widely read locally and still published often beyond our shores.
Speaking to the Montage recently, Arasanayagam voiced her concerns
to do with some of her more recent work, while commenting on
influences that made her a poet years back.
